This year members of the PS Club visited four elementary schools close to George Waters MS and read to Kindergarten classes. GW students had a great time meeting and answering questions from the elementary students. The elementary students very much enjoyed listening to and learning from our GW readers.
The PS Club at George Waters stands for Philanthropic Sharks Club. All year long this dedicated group of students meet Tuesday at lunch along with a number of staff members to discuss ways of making the world a better place.
This group models the Three Levels of Sharkdom by:
Getting Involved, Standing Up for Others and Being Philanthropists.
This year, this group has also sold
Rafiki Chains and just finished selling candy bags to raise funds to purchase goats for communities in Africa.
