'Dress Code' and Appropriate Clothing at GWMS

The weather is getting nicer and some students are beginning to wear clothing that may notbe appropriate for a school environment. The GWMS dress code is as follows that can be found on our school handbook on our website at http://georgewaters.sjsd.net.

Dress Code

Students and staff must dress appropriately for a school business environment.
Hats, bandanas and sunglasses are to be taken off upon entering the school and
must be stored in lockers along with jackets. Tank tops, halter tops, muscle
shirts, spaghetti straps, short shorts and other revealing clothing are not
permitted during regular school hours. Gang colours or symbols and
inappropriate material printed on clothing are not permitted. Students violating
the dress code will be asked to change into appropriate clothing or will be sent
home to change.
