Canadian Human Rights Commission Posted a GWMS Video on their Facebook Page

Recently, 3 GWMSwpg students created a Human Rights video for a 'Be the Change' Challenge at a Manitoba Human Rights Conference. The Canadian Human Rights Commission picked up the video and posted it to their site. See below for a series of emails to see how this happened!

The first email is the most recent email...

The CHRC shared the video today on both their French and English site.  Please see the links below.

Hi Josee,

Please find below an email from Andrew Mead, Principal from George Waters Middle School.  I hope this is sufficient for you to proceed with posting the video and with making modification to include a French translation.

I had an opportunity to meet the creators of the video at our Winnipeg Youth Conference – they are energetic, enthusiastic and determined young people, who are making an important impact in their school and community.  And as you can see by Andrew’s email, they are thrilled that the CHRC would also like to share their message.

Because of the size of the video, they never emailed me the video directly.  I simply downloaded it from YouTube.  If you need assistance to do this, please let me know.

Cheers,

Pam Roberts
