Grade 8 Farewell

Parents of grade 8 students, please watch for this letter being sent home today!

Dear Parents/Guardians:

On Thursday, June 23^rd the grade eight students of George Waters Middle School will be going to Assiniboine Park for a day filled with activities. We will enjoy activities and lunch at a reserved site. We will leave at approximately 8:45am for the day, returning to school at approximately 3:00pm for homeroom time. There is NO cost for the day! Lunch will be provided. (Thanks to the Parent Council for their donation to cover the cost.)

Please fill out the dietary restrictions and return to Mrs. Licorish by Tuesday, June 21^st.

Please remember to bring a WATER BOTTLE, sunscreen, mosquito repellent, hat, and anything else you need for all types of weather.

Students may bring their own snacks to have throughout the day.

**In the event the weather is undesirable, the school administration will determine if the activity will be cancelled. This decision will be made at 9:30am on the day of the event. If the fieldtrip is cancelled, then there will be regular classes.**

1. Your permission form
2. Your fieldtrip form (Everything filled out and signed!)
3. Dietary restrictions form

by Tuesday, June 21^st. This will ensure the correct amount of food for lunch is purchased!
