Biography
I am looking forward to reconnecting with many friends, parents and students within the King Edward/Deer Lodge ward, in my quest to represent them in the vacated school trustee position.

I graduated at Westwood Collegiate, and am a semi-retired educator of 34 years, having resided in the ward since the mid 80’s. My 21 years in classrooms provided me with 15 years teaching in the ward at Brooklands and George Waters/St. James Collegiate, 13 years as a vice principal, 3 years at Ness and Bruce Middle Schools, and 10 years at Sturgeon Creek and Sturgeon Heights Collegiate.

During those years I worked with many trustees, senior school superintendents, finance staff, and served on numerous school, school division, and provincial committees, such as strategic planning, budget, curriculum, facilities, parent councils, as well as the school amalgamation of Sturgeon Creek and Silver Heights Collegiate. Those and other educational / administration experiences and relationships will provide me with the ability to bring immediate and strong representation for this ward and contributions to the existing school board.

I have the energy, time, experience, knowledge, passion and commitment for public education and the role as school trustee for the King Edward/Deer Lodge ward.
