This MONDAY is our FIRST Movember Monday and moustaches will be for sale starting at $0.50 and going up to $1. Students can donate more if they want.
The Movember Foundation is a global
charity committed to men living happier, healthier, longer lives. Since 2003,
millions have joined the men’s health movement, raising $677 million and
funding over 1,000 programs focusing on prostate cancer, testicular cancer,
poor mental health and physical inactivity.
When you see someone with a moustache in November who doesn't usually have one it is designed to start the conversation and to make people aware about how important it is for men to have an annual check up with their doctors.
GWMS has a school team and WE want YOU to GET INVOLVED. You can join our team (open to males and females). If growing a moustache isn't for you, you can commit to MOve for at least 30 minutes a day for the month of MOVEMBER.
