September is Attendance Awareness Month at #GWMSwpg. Coming to school everyday and 'Getting Involved' matters! Just missing 2 days every month (doesn't seem like much, right?) means by the 9th grade 200 school days are missed. That's longer than an ENTIRE school year. (Here is the math: 2 days missed per month x 10 months in a school year = 20 days. 20 days per year over 10 years = 200 days. The average number of days in a school year is about 190 days.
