Computer Science/Computer Engineering Camp for Girls

WISE KE is running a Computer Science/Computer Engineering Camp this summer for Girls in Grades 7-9. The camp will run August 11-13 from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (drop-off starting at 8:30 a.m., and pick-up ending at 4:30 p.m.) on campus in EITC.

What to students can expect:

Have exciting hands-on computer science experiences, learn the fundamentals of software coding and experience the building blocks of hardware. Put your new knowledge to the test by building a robot and bringing it to life. Check out this year's newest camp! Codemakers is designed for girls in Grades 7-9. Camp will be held Tuesday, August 11 to Thursday, August 13, (so don't worry, you'll still get long weekends to sleep in). Camp runs from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm daily. (Drop-off starts at 8:30 am, and pick-up ends at 4:30 pm.) Camp will be held at the University of Manitoba on the Fort Garry campus in the Engineering Information Technology Complex. Registration is only $50, and food is included. Don't miss your chance to have fun experimenting, designing, and testing with experts in the field.
