Wood Burning: Thinking and Learning in Process

 

If you took a look in the woods room this afternoon, you would see some smoke rising.  Don't worry.  It was supposed to be.  Students were practicing the  skill of wood burning.  It is called pyrography.    This student is making an I Pad stand and is burning his design using  a tool that applies burning strokes on the wood.
