In recognition of Manitoba School Library Day GWMS students joined other students across the province and grabbed their paperback books, comics, iBooks, and graphic novels to devote 15 minutes to uninterrupted reading. This day is meant to acknowledge and foster a love of reading, promote literacy, critical thinking and inquiry. When students are asked what they think of "Drop Everything and Read", they think, it is just plain old fun!
