Spring is finally here and Deanne Crothers is once again hosting the Annual Truro Creek Clean Up on Saturday May 31, 2014 at Noon in Bruce Park (1966 Portage Avenue). If there are any students of staff at George Waters that would like to volunteer a an hour or more on the Saturday afternoon helping the community and appreciating the outdoors that would be great!
We will also be holding a BBQ as well with hamburgers, hotdogs, veggie dogs and drinks. Also volunteers get a chance to win prizes donated by our local businesses!
If you would kindly pass this information on to students and staff it would be greatly appreciated. I have attached a poster that can be printed as well.
