Tell Them From Me (TTFM)

In our continuing efforts to increase school effectiveness, we will be implementing an online student survey this fall called Tell Them From Me (TTFM). This is a well-known survey tool which gives students the opportunity to express their thoughts on various topics and provides schools with information to improve student learning and foster safe and welcoming environments for all students.

TTFM was created by The Learning Bar, based on the work of Dr. Doug Willms, who is well-known nationally and internationally for his work on the development of educational monitoring systems, including the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA). Since 2004, Tell Them From Me has become Canada’s largest national school survey.

TTFM is an online survey that allows students to provide their input anonymously in terms of school improvement initiatives. Each student receives a randomly generated username and password, so that their identity and responses cannot be linked. All the students in Grades 6 - 8 will be given the opportunity to participate in the survey, but their participation is not mandatory.

This survey has been specifically designed for the Grades 6 - 8 student population and will require approximately 40 minutes to complete. It will include the topic of “bullying and school safety”.

If you would like more information about TTFM or want to preview the survey before it is administered at the school, please contact the school principal at 204-888-4898.

Thank you for your support.
