Fundraising Makes It Happen at George Waters Middle School

It is once again time to start raising necessary funds for our School.  In an effort to provide a fundraiser that will include “something affordable for everyone”, at every price point, we are excited to leap ahead of the hectic holiday shopping season. 

We have chosen Lamontagne Fund-raising for this year’s catalogue fund-raiser. Lamontagne is an all Canadian company serving schools since 1978.

Important Dates and Information:

NOVEMBER 2: Return the top three copies (white, yellow and pink) of the order form and monies collected.

Please make sure that your child’s name and class room is on both the order form and the money envelope.  Retain the green copy for your records. 

Delivery date:  week of Dec 10, 2012 (possibly sooner)

All cheques must be made payable to GWMS Parent Council.

Here’s how it works:

Each student is receiving one package containing the following along with a 4 part order form, collection money envelope and a cumulative PRIZE program poster:

LAMONTAGNE COLLECTION 2012 – 102 items including holiday giftware,  an expanded cards and calendars section, everyday essentials, and the new Exclusive Michael Andrew houseware section make this catalogue a winner! Prices from $7-$35 (50% profit)

STYLE   – Our new and exciting exclusive jewelry and trendy designs catalogue has 65 items to choose from $12-29.  Every jewelry item comes with an iridescent gift pouch. All earring posts are nickel-free, surgical steel & hypo-allergenic. (40% profit)

GOURMET Cookies, Coffee, Tea and more – All-natural ingredients, peanut-free NON-FROZEN cookie dough mixes - just mix & bake!  Sealed packages can be kept on the shelf for up to one year without refrigeration and prepared dough can be refrigerated for 3 weeks or frozen for 3 months!  New items include Red Velvet cake, Pumpkin spice bread, banana bread, and Village Gourmet dips. (45% profit)

Taking orders from relatives, friends, neighbours and colleagues at your workplace will really help to accumulate sales.  Invite out-of-town friends and relatives to view all catalogues online at www.lamontagne.ca and then call or e-mail their order to you. You can view all brochure products online and make your choice(s) on the  order form.  Please collect the money when you take the order.  No orders can be accepted without payment. 

Included inside each brochure package is a poster listing all of the prizes each child may receive when they reach their specific sales target.  No need to select prizes as your families prizes earned are delivered with our “thanks” with your order upon delivery in approximately four weeks.

This is a simple way for us to raise much-needed funds for the School so let’s do it together and make it a huge success.  70% of our profit goes directly to the student’s account!
